Status Detail:

A small helper application to assist in adding Design Type names to Space Empires V; This program is to help overcome the lack of an in game ability to do this.

Usage: Just install the file to any directory and run it - it will look for an installation of SE:V and let you add/rename design types. It also backs up the default design types file so you can go back to stock at any time.

UPDATE 11/11/2006 - Changed the archive to a self extracting installer.
UPDATE 11/29/2006 - New Version Released

Current Features:

• Ability to edit the DesignTypes.txt file for custom design types
• Can add/remove/rename design types at will
• Automatic install location finder
• Can revert to the default types file at any time with one button press

• Multiple copies of DesignTypes to choose from
• SaveGame Design Type editing

Bugs / Known Issues:

Version 0.1.8 - 0.2.2

• Right now this only works on new games, it will not effect saved games. This is due to the fact that the file edited is only accessed at game creation. I am looking into how to add this information to saved games. Keep checking for more information.

• Added some features, namely an ability to Remove a design name and an ability to revert to the default types file at any time with one click.

Version 0.1.8:

• Fixed a bug where the program would choose the Demo version over the Full version if both were present on the system. It chooses the Full version over the Demo.
